Şehzade Cağ Kebap

Every trip there’s one place you find and you know you’ll crave it when you get back home. This is that place! The lamb skewers with the sumac covered onions and the bread they serve with it is all you need for the perfect fatty bite. A must try worth the price point in my opinion

Speedy service and great food. A bit pricey but I thoroughly enjoyed the chow. Small menu so we opted for the wrap and the soup. Both were tasty but hands down to the wrap which in it's simplicity is so good. The meat speaks for itself and the char and smokiness comes through nicely. Loved it!

If you are in Istanbul you gotta try this! Absolutely delicious the meat just melts in your mouth. Stunning taste and it's light in the stomach. This place was one of my favourite ones eating here in Istanbul. It's a vibe sitting and eating here you'll understand once you did Almost 0 waiting time for your food to be served. Lovely and friendly staff...

Very delicious type of kebab. Crispy but you have to expect the oily look and taste as well :)) Was a proper experience having lunch here. Tried the very freshly baked Walnut Kadayif as well. Recommend that one too. The place isn’t fancy. It’s a local place in the heart of old bazaar of Istanbul.

Their Cag Kebab is truly amazing. The simplicity of the menu with only 2 main dishes and a handful sides ( Mixed salad, yoghurt, lentil soup… ) provides a more authentic experience of this restaurant that has been up and running for years. You can taste the flavor and its unique and delicious! The portion of 2 cag kebabs as seen in the picture didn’t quite match a normal portion size. We got the order twice and were not disappointed — just by the pricing per serving.

We all enjoyed the kebap—it was juicy and flavorful, and the meat they use tastes very good. It’s served with warm bread, fresh salad, and excellent ayran. The menu is simple—just kebap plate or wrap—but they do it exceptionally well. Complimentary tea is offered, and they have one type of dessert available. A great spot for an authentic kebap experience.

We ordered the wrap cag kebab, which is a flour tortilla with tomatoes, onions and meat (which I’m not sure if it was lamb or beef). The meat was really good in flavor and in terms of cooking, so I highly recommend it. We also tried a drink made with yogurt, curious flavor, if you are a lover of yogurt without any flavor, try it, if not, better order another drink. Don’t get confused with the photos on the Internet, which make it look like a not so nice place, since it’s quite nice when you’re there.
